Care Cultivation provides quality Medication Administration Training, Delegated Nursing Services and Nursing Compliance Consultations.

Care Cultivation is a labor of love and I look forward to helping with the ‘cultivation’ of participants, not just to learn enough to pass, but to have a real understanding of what we do in the I/DD field related to medication administration and care.

My Name is Charity Draman

My experience in the I/DD field started very early on. I grew up on the grounds of the Gruter Foundation, where my Dad was a house parent, care director, a maintenance manager and did everything from cooking, laundry, activities, and direct care. I learned many things there, a couple of them being the acceptance of the individuals that lived nearby and the dynamic impact that caregivers in our field have in promoting a feeling of belonging and safety.

Those lessons have never left me, and sometimes that has made it hard for me as a caregiver to find the right place to flourish with my expectations of service and education. I knew that when I could get to the place that I could provide the care and direction on my own terms, I could make a difference in the field, I am so passionate about.

My experience:

STNA (while still in high school)
DSP in my 20’s (although we were called Hab Aides back then)
LPN experience in skilled care and worked under a delegating nurse RN.
RN 5 years of experience in I/DD field with teaching, preparation of written procedures and delegation of appropriate tasks
