Medication Administration Certification III - Annual Renewal/1hr CEU

This course is developed to satisfy the requirements for DODD Medication Administration Category III Annual Renewal for DD personnel in the care and treatment of individuals with

diabetes mellitus (DM) and Metabolic Glycemic Disorders. One hour of continuing education to elevate the knowledge and skill of the Certified DD Professional performing administration of insulin, glucagon, and injections for glycemic metabolic disorders. Return demonstration of skills to the trainer will meet requirements for the class.

Eligibility Requirements: To complete the renewal class and maintain state certification, DD Personnel must successfully complete

this course, AND:

1. Have a current Certification 1

2. Attending the entire 1 hour continuing education offering, AND the return of demonstration of skills, as outlined in DODD curriculum
